Meet Our Members

Janice Rogers

With her deep-seated love for our world and its nature, Janice Rogers realizes human population growth is the root of the biggest problems of our time. She exclaims, “It’s not a new thing! I taught this stuff in 1979. When I was born, the population was two-and-a-half billion. Then, the seven billion really got to me. We need to do more! I care about the animals and birds, and all the people who need and want access to contraception.”

Roseberline Porcenat
rporcenat@popconnect.org
(202) 974-7705

Roseberline first made the population connection while volunteering with non-profit organizations and seeing firsthand the effects of U.S. policies on international development. As she worked on improving the health of those in Haiti, she discovered the problems and solutions are interconnected. She realized that it’s impossible to improve the health of a community without addressing environmental issues, standing up for reproductive rights, and recognizing the importance of population stabilization. She brings her passion and experience to the membership relations team in order to help members bring light to these issues in their communities.

Alyssa Kroeger
akroeger@popconnect.org
(202) 974-7732

Alyssa first made the population connection as a child raising rabbits in 4-H. She later refined that connection in her high school’s AP Environmental Science class while learning about resource sustainability and access to basic needs. She studied International Studies and Political Science with a focus in Latin America while at UC San Diego. She is excited to incorporate her international knowledge and previous nonprofit experience in her role assisting members as they engage their communities.
