Planned Parenthood is over 90 percent non-abortion activities, yet media calls them abortion clinics. Not a cent of federal funding goes to abortions, yet many believe Planned Parenthood and other groups are bankrolled by the national government.
Most Americans think birth control information and material are free, or cheap, and easily available. Many think later abortions are common and performed by many physicians. Absolutely untrue.
There appears to be a well-financed and organized campaign against women controlling their own bodies. What has happened to separation of church and state?
Tolerance, not Trump, has made America great.
The alternative is a theocracy, like Iran or Saudi Arabia. Is that America’s future?
I just finished reading my first mailing of Population Connection. What a wonderful journal! The articles were timely, well written, and filled with important information. I especially liked the material on E.O. Wilson, long a hero of mine. Thank you, and I look forward to the next issue.
I just read the recent Population Connection magazine that featured the women of Guatemala, and I was blown away by the quality and presentation of the reporting. I’m sending the magazine to my sister who lives in Michigan, and I hope she will join Population Connection after she reads it. She adopted a child from Guatemala when he was four months old. He’s now a junior at Michigan State University.
I am so impressed by your June magazine! May I get six more copies to share with my local libraries and schools? I will gladly reimburse costs.
Reading about the thousands of young people who took part in your World of 7 Billion student video contest was heartening! I wish them all success in pursuing their goals and setting an example for their contemporaries.
I will be promoting E.O. Wilson’s theories and writings—may he continue to live a long and productive life! I will also work toward electing people who may be able to repeal the obnoxious and hurtful Global Gag Rule.
I look forward to your future magazines. Thanks again for all you do.
