350 activists came to CHD 2018!

Over the weekend of March 16–19, nearly 350 activists from 25 states stormed D.C. to speak out against Trump’s Global Gag Rule, and to urge their elected officials to support the Global HER Act and a $1.2 billion U.S. investment in international family planning — including $70 million for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). They met with 169 members of Congress in their #Fight4HER in Washington, D.C.

“Thank you so much for such an action-packed and inspiring weekend. The speakers, the push for advocacy radiating from the conference attendees, and the tools you have given us reaffirm my desire to go out into the world and do something to help support others all over the world.”
